HouseCall
Privacy on HouseCall
A plain-language explanation of how this website works.
Updated October 10, 2026.
Reading and learning
You can read our public guides and download resources without creating a HouseCall account. The learning activities run in your browser.
Resource counts
When a tracked resource link is used, HouseCall records a daily total for that file and the type of action: open or download. This counter does not store your name, email address, IP address, visitor identifier or browsing history. These totals show interest in resources; they do not tell us whether someone finished downloading or reading a book.
Storage on your device
Some activities, including Junior Academy and Championship Mode, use browser session storage to remember progress during a tab session. Your browser may restore that session when reopening a tab. HouseCall also uses a service worker to cache pages and files on your device so previously visited content may remain available offline. You can remove this local information through your browser’s site-data settings; saved progress and offline copies may then be lost.
Videos and outside services
HouseCall includes embedded YouTube videos and YouTube thumbnail images. Loading these features connects your browser to Google or YouTube, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Their privacy practices apply. Other linked services, including social networks and bookstores, have their own practices.
Contacting Mary
Contact links open your email app. If you send a message, the information you choose to include is handled by the email services involved and is available to the recipient so they can respond. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for your question.

Hosting and security
The download counter described above is separate from hosting and security systems. Those services may process technical request information to deliver and protect the website. This notice does not promise that hosting or third-party services keep no logs.
